It was a lovely show this morning, and we received some lovely feedback.
Be sure to book your tickets and join us in Sockland.
Can’t wait until tonight’s function; I’ll be hosting a special birthday murder mystery dinner at The George Boutique Hotel in Blackheath.
Tonight it’s Harry Pottercide…
Who’s the murderer…? Could it be Draco, or Wesley – or perhaps Dumbledore or even Hagrid… who knows!?
We’re certainly getting some attention in the media as our July Yulefest Blue Mountains dinner and show gets closer.
Kate Reid interviewed Robin Queree who plays Spike on The Goon Show LIVE!, and wrote this wonderful article in the Western Weekender.
For the many Goon Show fans out there, we’ve decided to add some excitement to our upcoming Yulefest Blue Mountains dinner / shows this July.
It’s the Bucket of GOON; what happens is that we ask an audience member to draw a mystery Goon Show episode out of a bucket for the boys to perform.
Once the lads get over the initial leg-trembles, they have only 5 minutes to scramble – sort out their scripts and load-up the sound effects.
We first gave this a whirl in 2015 at a season of shows we played in Sydney… it worked brilliantly, and the added adrenaline spiced up the show for cast and audience alike.
Tickets have been selling extremely well this year, so get in on the fun and book now. We’d love to see you there.
The boys of The Goon Show LIVE! have been working hard (if you can describe what they actually do as ‘working’), bringing the best of British Comedy to the stage.
After successful tours to the NSW Central Coast and Sydney throughout 2016, they are returning to where the LIVE! show all began… Katoomba, in the stunning Blue Mountains.
This here is Robin Queree (a.k.a. Spike Milligan), in a recent show; he’s just realised that it’s his line.
Although they all hold their scripts in-hand, they still manage to lose their place at times. With luck, he’ll remember to bring his script to our show at Hotel Blue on December 17th.
Loosely based around the original nursery rhyme 3 Blind Mice, the show is sure to please children from 2 to 8 years of age, with songs and other audience participation.
There’s lots of fun promised for parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and other adult hangers-on too, with nursery rhymes from their childhood weaved throughout the story.
After the success of last year’s Mother Goose, this show promises to be a special treat indeed.
Last weekend, we held two shows… the first on on Saturday night was a dinner and show, and then on Sunday we have a special Afternoon Tea. My goodness, the fans just keep[ on coming.
Along with all our regulars, we seem to be finding more and more new fans. On Saturday, Annette and Joe gave us this wonderful video review…
There is only one more Yulefest Blue Mountains Dinner and Show left, on Saturday 30th July, so book your tickets before we run away.
The boys of my show, The Goon Show LIVE! already have the biggest heads around, but those craniums are swelling even more on hearing these audience reviews.
To see what all the fuss is about for yourself, come along to the Yulefest Blue Mountains dinner and show; there are only 4 shows to go.
This wonderful event is to be staged in the beautiful Meadow in the gardens at Leuralla Toy and Railway Museum, one of the most impressive properties in the Blue Mountains. Leuralla’s stunning Meadow is part of the gorgeous 12 acres of beautiful gardens which were laid down at the turn of last century.
This delightful 45 minute show features songs, drums and loads of fun! It’s an interactive theatrical experience for children aged 2 – 6.
Mum, Dad and Grandparents will enjoy the show too – it’s a trip down Memory Lane as we weave nursery rhymes from your own childhood throughout the story.
