Brigid O’Sullivan
Brigid O’Sullivan started her career topless on national television as she washed her hair to clean for dandruff in possibly the most irritating display of childish cuteness ever seen on TV. As an Ensemble Studios graduate she continued to play dress ups, at Q Theatre, Bondi Pavilion, Seymour Centre, Tap Gallery and in various TV soaps and films. In London she worked with The Royal Court, toured nationally, starred in a sell-out West End production of “White With Wire Wheels”, worked on the film “The Madness of King George III”, and played in traditional English Rep and pantomime. As a natural redhead, Goldilocks earnt her the nickname “Eva Gabor on acid”. There are still 5 year olds in therapy today, following this unnaturally blonde experience.
On her return to Australia she has done stand up at East Village, Shakespeare at Threadbo, Olympic films with Roy & HG and guest starred on the TV Series and feature “Pizza”.Numerous short films, including playing a piece of celery in someone’s stomach, have kept her busy. She is looking forward to someday playing a full roast dinner in the non-anorexic sequel. Recent work includes ABC’s “Short and Sweet” , “Razorhurst” and “Dead Down Under” and countless corporate event and training performances.
